Hedda Hopper was a gossip columnist and former actress whose column “Hedda Hopper’s Hollywood” ran in the Los Angeles Times. She hosted The Hedda Hopper Show on CBS from 1939 until October 30, 1942. Her last role as a character other than herself was in Reap the Wild Wind.
